The number of faces I see each day
adds up and starts to fade away.
I exchange laughter and speak a lot
but never do my eyes get caught.

They say that love can be first sight
but never did I think it might.
Books and movies make it seem
but fiction's not reality

All I know is your eyes caught mine
I close them now,  you're in my rhymes.
You spoke to me but i couldn't hear
my heart was beating so loud i feared
that you could hear it and walk away
but i don't know what made you stay.
