The Pyromaniac's Burns
Part of me understood
When you stood back from the flames
The heat was intense
In the deafening blast
And the pain unreal
How long could you last?
So no I didn't fight for you to stay
I didn't want you to hurt too
So tell me why
I watched you set
A bomb of your own
And drop a match lit
Close enough that I could see the blaze
And the girl you took down with you
You condemned my agonist
Made him a pariah
And left me in the ashes
To set your own fire
So you'll have to forgive my indifference
I don't care much for a Pyromaniac's burns
For M
