Exhausted

I’m exhausted,
chasing the wind,
trying to hold in my palm
what was meant to be infinite.

You’re that unreachable breeze—
let me feel you from afar.
I’m too worn to keep running,
too tired to grasp you.
Runner and treasure twin flame
