Proche Orient
I watched the sun’s gaze
gain, on Gaza, but not for long.
A mere postage stamp,
poorly licked on a parched envelope.
Nor postcode, nor yet
addressed, nor sealed.
Short note airmailed -
par, Par Avion?
Non, par ex-plos-ion.
Blue Bic bleeds.
