I’ve got a plume

from the wing of

a phoenix

I can write words,

that fly higher

than lies

I’ve got a well,

from which I can

siphon,

Tear drops from

those, with

red crying eyes

I’ve got a plume

from the wing of

a phoenix

And I’ve got a page

without margins

or lines

I can write words,

that no one has

heard of

And I can quill those

who ploughed out

their vines

I’ve got a plume

from the wing of

a phoenix

And I come from a land

where fair play

we enshrine

Yes I’ve got the plume

from the green grass

it fell on

And I promise it's

nib, will never

resign
