Up from ancient ruins

in Phoenix flight

But first, a severed arm

must pick another fight

Stick from stones his

final reach

For those who came

but could not preach.

He rose and rose

beyond defeat

Where lark and passing

cloud can meet

Now, a beacon on his

newly conquered hill

Gives all who struggle

hope, but more, the will.

                  Ps.

    RIP is only for those
   who died and remain
  dead, this poem is not
and obituary nor is it an
elegy, lament or requiem.
