We run from love's warm embrace,
Though our hearts yearn to be near,
We whisper a cautious no,
While longing for what’s clear.

In the dance of hearts and minds,
With missteps that leave us torn,
The princess lost her charming prince,
In the silence of love’s dawn.

A chance lost to the days.
In silence, we mourn the path
That led us far away—
A dream once held so closely,
Now just a shadowed sway.
In shadows we often tread,
We glance and hope for contact,
Yet fear the words unsaid.

So let us dare to speak,
To bridge the gaps we create,
For in the honesty of words,
True love awaits, not fate.
