Me,
I can't think about the water that's gone under the bridge, on the edge of my being I know I was swimming away.

Those thoughts are put away and one day they will melt into me and everything that I've ever felt.

She mops my brow and I wonder how she manages to cope
I hope and I always will
that she will still
this beating heart.
