I wanted her charm all to myself
For I am a jealous man
And how selfish of me
To want to keep her always
And how greedy of me to hide her away
For a bird always
longs to fly.
And when I see her
Free
In the air
Making love to the sky
All I can do
Is curse my feet
for being chained
to the
ground.
