Try hard as you might to set yourself free
In this world of finders keep, losers will weep
One thing you're reminded of finding
Is that you are always crying

Grass grows greener on the other side
That's when you find the road is wide
Here's a fairly radical fact
You can be happy with where you are at

The birds that get up early
Never do go hungry
Unless you find you've been thrown a curve
And over time you've become the worm

Up the creek without a paddle
Seems to be a constant battle
Do your best to grab this fact
You can be happy with where you are at

The gift horse in the mouth
Bites you the moment you let it out
You can lead that horse to water
But it won't go any further

With all your eggs in one basket
You easily forget where you left it
Get it into your head this phenomenal fact
You can be happy with where you are at
