i found a little puppy he looked rather lost
he was in a wheelie bin that someone had tossed
i gently pulled  him out shaky as can be
wrapped in my coat took him home with me

i gave the dog some food a tasty bit of meat
chopped it  in pieces small enough to eat
i gave the dog a home now he stays with me
no more wheelie bins will ever see

dogs they are for life not just for a day
something to discard then just throw away
dogs they have devotion give there love for free
you will have the best friend there will ever be
