First they designated
us as weeds, only fit
for jungles according
to Joseph Borrell, but
King Charles decided
we should be allowed
to co-habit, the garden.

Better for the diversity
of nature, we are being
imported, wouldn’t have
believed that now would
you, mixed amongst other
seeds, wild flowers they are
calling us, a bit like refugees.

But the birds and the bees
and the butterflies won’t
discriminate against us, and
eventually, with other plant
species, we will integrate,
in a symbiotic symphony.
