Off for a sprint
in the Olympic Park
or rather
a stint at the coal face
in the place where I work.

I pretend it'll end
soon,
but
it seems to me
that the Moon and I
have been old friends
for an eternity.

She tells me again to be brave
to save some of myself for
myself.
