I watched as death crept around every corner
Waiting to take someone's light
Death figured if it couldn't keep the light
Then why does everyone else have a chance
Slowly but surely the light starts to fade
-
"Such misery I bring before you."
"This turmoil you feel is death."
"It is I who bring closure to these ends."
"Yet no one reigns above me or below me."
"This void of a world you call home is decorated and plagued with too much light."
"It is my job to clean this distained burden and mine alone."
-
Death always follows close to those who burn bright
Look into my eyes and see that death has been around
-
"Your time will come, soon enough."
