I never ended fed up here,
I starved myself through a life that should have been dear
but cost me more than I had in store.

We were here,
years ago
and you thought we'd gone,
how wrong were you?

I see them
let's call them the bogeymen
not what I'd want to see
because I was one of them

Ghosts tend to reside
they don't pay rent.
