One was Myopic, whilst
The other supposedly
Had Hyperopia, yet they
We’re both accused of
Voyeurism and duly
Locked up. But they had
An idea of how to break
Out of their prism, a tunnel
Vision, they synchronized
Their watches and planned
The escape at 20/20 exactly,
As it was the longest day of
The year. The only worry
They had was that of their
Shadows giving them away,
Because light can’t bend.
But, as the sun was setting
Their reflections would be
Low to the ground and that
Is why this poem is not called
SpecSavers, but, Irish Logic.
