Two shy people met in a lane
Bowed most politely
Bowed once again
Saying I don’t get pushed
By other people
I just do what you do
You see shy people sit in their house
Pretending they are too shy to be like the crowd
Nobody likes them
They are too shy
Nobody likes them at all
You see these cool people saw
Two shy people playing in the park
Sometimes basketball
Sometimes footy
But if a woman walked past
They don’t think of ***
Because they are too shy
You see sometimes it is good to be
Two shy people in the street
One eats potato chips
One squeezes down drain pipes
And because he is shy
A man walks out and toasts
Him with a nice cold beer
Two shy people walked in the city
Looking at everything there
They look at the people
Lining up for the clubs
And walk past dangerous flats
But nothing will happen
Nothing will happen
Cause you are so shy
Two shy people went to the family concert
To see you what bands were playing
There was this band
Playing in civic the babies are dancing
Boy they are so cute
Two shy people went to glebe park
To have beer and listen to the band
And have a meal in the food court
It was great to come out of my shell
Two shy people saw jimmy barnes
Singing along to all of his wonderful hits
Cheered very loudly
People were staring
But who gives a toss about that
Two shy people danced on the dance floor
One just danced the other attracting attention
If they got teased
By people who were just jealous
Party on shy
Party on shy
There is nothing wrong with being shy
We are just learning
