A Frenchman translated
Joyce’s poem for Bloomsday.

On reading it he exclaimed
Une omelette sans beurre.

Indeed, apparently it lost all
Of its content and meaning.

Edward Fitzgerald read a
Translation of the Rubyiatt.

My God he said. What’s all
The talk about Khayyam?

He went and learned Persian
Just to read the Quatrains.

James Joyce learned the
Entire Norwegian language.

He done so, simply to read
One poem by Hendrik Ibsen.

The poem was Peer Gynt and
Then he abandoned Norwegan.

When Ibsen died in Oslo, the
Funeral was delayed for Joyce.

I am close to Ibsen birthplace
And will visit his grave in Oslo.

Next, we need to find out about
Roald Amusden the South Poler.
