Legalized

If I stay here long enough
they said I could become
naturalized, which I think
is a bit like, homogenized.

Imagine that, normalized,
after being scrutinized, I
would be synchronized to
become more harmonized.

But how does that work
because I am ostracized
demonized even despised,
perhaps I’ll be hypnotized.

Ah: I get it, I’ll be baptized
no longer marginalized, I
will become civilized and
one day I will be canonized!
