Just thoughts
Oh yeah,
by the way
or the wayside
or any
side you sleep on,
when you get old, older
you might wonder,
if it was worthwhile,
was that smile,
wide enough
did you
give of yourself
enough?
more than enough?
he wipes his face
with a white napkin
wondering if and when
you'd ever begin
to face the truth.
