Blue Jewel in the Lotus

Chain around my neck

hands and feet are bound too

I choke back tears

Ocean of Samsara

turbulent surf raging

in my eyes

Narayan, Blue Lord of the Cosmos

solar disk circling your forefinger

with very breath I am reborn

a lonely soul destined to die

How I long to wear

the garland of your love

around my neck

imbibe the Prema

that every jivi consciously

or unconsciously desires

Beloved

my heart is a swing

swaying in the pearl gray mist

come sit beside me forever...
