Homeless

It is not feasible for one
to imagine homelessness.

Just as it is as difficult to equate
alone and loneliness in a crowd.

If the issue was merely that of
not having a home then so be it.

Alas, our world has very little
tolerance for anything different.

But for some it’s worse, they are
of unsame colour and language.

They are of customs and religions
that are completely alien to us.

They eat smelly food, wear odd
clothing and have strange names.

Bédouins living on streets of our
hard earned independent capital.

Penny for the guy, Penny Lane,
we even had pennies from Heaven!

Do you remember putting a penny
in the black baby boxes at school?

That was when we were of pound
mind and body now we’re metriculated.
