Oh love, a fragile whisper in the storm,
A flickering candle in the darkest night,
A spider's web, delicate and melancholy,
A paper boat adrift in endless plight.
Oh love, a wilted flower in the frost,
A brittle leaf that crumbles in the breeze,
A shadow cast, forever lost,
A fleeting dream that brings me to my knees.
Oh love, as weak as I am, yet so strong,
A paradox that lingers, right or wrong.
