The river still flows
albeit sluggishly
the sea still gives me
Mal de Mer
and I put that down to
all the plastic waste
in there.

On a lighter note
which
floats in the air
mixed up with
chem' trails everywhere
it's a lovely day
for making hay
or for baking cakes,
whatever takes your fancy.
