Naked Truth
Truth and Lie had one day met
They had lots of stories to tell
Lie planned everything instead
As they ended up beside a well
The water seemed very beautiful
Lie suggested they bath together
The Truth thought that is fanciful
And they undressed each other
Suddenly the Lie jumped out
Wearing white instead of black
The furious truth cried in shout
Trying to get her clothes back
The World saw the Truth naked
In the well she dropped her name
Mortified and with deceit fated
Vanished forever hiding her shameΒ
Since then Lie travels quite entire
Dressed like Truth in her youth
Because the World has no desire
To stand and meet the naked Truth
