i
i was a dissapointment
not so much to myself
but to the human race
they would say-
speaking as an outsider
what do you(me) think
of the human race?
i had no answer..
inwardly,
i berated their lack
of originality
pass the soap lily..
ii
what did i think
(i thought i could
die for a drink..)
i thought of hope
and beauty-
that sort of thing..
