If systems can be worked within
I think I’ve worked myself right
into one.

It’s no longer add two,
divide by nine,
that time’s gone
we are the one
the one and only,
the miss me quick hat
the scroll past, like that,

and that’s batshit crazy if
you ask me
but of course you won’t
because you don’t want to know
unless it’s on a catwalk
or
a south suburban sidewalk,

no
you will not talk to me
I
am that future that you dare
not see,

you think that long ago
was twenty-twenty three
so
what’s the flamin’ point?
Old age comes in many numbers
