My love wasn't enough for you to stay.
You went away quickly.
And I continued on living life.

And without you, it's twice as nice.

Sure, I could have cried.
But I didn't give it a second thought.

And now you're back saying I didn't care.
When in truth it seems to be you?

What I was blessed with?
I cherished it deeply.

I just wasn't going to waste my time chasing you.
When you had a love so true.

So, you saw yourself as a distant dream.

When in reality you never stood by me?
