Mar 2024
we haven't sat
          and watched clouds
                    drift
    in years

               stillness

as simple things take shape
then dissipate
rain on the horizon
gray mist descending
   from silver thoughts
the sun takes cover
behind a puffy blanket
for a needed nap

close eyes and release
