Mar 3
we haven't sat
          and watched clouds
                    drift
    in years

stillness

as simple things take shape
then dissipate
rain on the horizon
gray mist descending
   from silver thoughts
the sun takes cover
behind a puffy blanket
for a needed nap

close eyes and release
