Since he was a child, Don Quixote

had dreamed of joining the crusades.

He heard of people with long noses

and short penises away in the East.

A local doctor from La Mancha told

him that they could indeed shorten

his phallus but nose extension was

only possible by deception and lies.

Señor Quixote was booked in for a

circumcision at a hospital in Toledo.

At the time, there was an influx of

nursing staff from Morocco whom

by historical accounts were not too

proficient in Spanish which resulted

in a medical misdemeanour that is

to this day still unexplainable by the

health service officials. One of the

nurses misinterpreted the doctors

scribble as a vasectomy. When

Lady Dulcinea del Toboso came

to see her lover, she was shocked

when she read the surgeons chart

at the end of Don Quixote’s bed.
