Semantic satiation

Will stretch the imagination

To the point of obliteration

Of the word's association.

Too much saturation

Of linguistic sussuration

Can lead to situations

Of over stimulation;

Repetitious undulations

Lead to the sensation

Called semantic satiation,

Just like this occasion.
Semantic satiation is a psychological phenomenon in which repetition causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who then perceives the speech as repeated meaningless sounds.

I.e. saying the same word over and over.
