Contrast
The flame of our world is beautiful,
Creation of warm atmospheric euphoria.
To feel an emotional caress of my cheek,
Followed by a gasp of sun kisses on my head.
He came for raindrops falling on rear mirrors,
I never intended to see the ocean so blue.
She came here to remind herself more of you,
But it isn't what I feel she wants to do.
For a life so bright to come into mine,
Like a candle flame dimming away.
Do you really want this life I give?
I'm shocked you never stayed.
