Today men need to be knights
Whether in shining armor or not
Stand against wrong for all that is right
Give of themselves freely, not bought

Move where they must with a purpose
To bring about justice for all
With no concern, is it worth it
Answering to a much higher call

That all men are created equal
No matter race, religion, or creed
A knight at heart is no fool
For every lost soul is a reason to bleed

Today all men need to be knights
In a world forgetful, a day to remember
Courage is easy to find
If you take the time to show that you care

Someone here for the downtrodden
Those with no hope, giving up on themselves
The lost, forlorn, forgotten
Those above all who need all our help

In a world that is less chivalrous
We all could use a good knight
Because in this life of hit and miss
Try as hard as you might a good knight's hard to find
