The Fall
. The Fall
Yes, our empire collapsed
but I endured the test of
time, yet you, you deciduous
blow-in, thought I was
superfluous. Think again.
Sneaking up on me for the
past 300 years, I may be
stone deaf, even blind, but
I could feel your roots making
their way under my foundations.
You even tried to surround me
by dropping samaras on the
other side, well, itβs karma.
You deserve your fate,
pseudoplatanus.
