One second,

for the broadest smile to shine,
for tears to form, dripping out of your eyes
waterfalls down your cheeks
An exchange of looks, a parting of ways
To shy to try
To say hi and goodbye

Two seconds
It's all it takes

For tires to screech leaving your bike under wheels
For your life to unfold and fade away,
to be changed forever,
a spiral out of control
downwards.

Three seconds is all it takes,

To say
I love you,
Thank you
Could you help me?
I'm glad you're here.
I woudn't know what to do without you

Imagine what you could do with a day

I believe one day you'll smile again, cry again
One day, you'll bike again
And believe me when I say
it's gonna be worth it, it's gonna be okay.
