Poems
Sep 2023
a very average poem
12 years of dissociative fog
eating my cerebellum
So long as the fires burn in winter
There's a path forward to Bethlehem
I forgot what I was
Gonna say but that's like most days
I wanna put a barrel to the next politician and ask
They
To sing in they most sincere voice
It's hard to lie when
You're trying to feel something.
I wanna ask a ghost what's it's like to be so empty
&
who haunts them
Tonight I need reassurance
