Parable
Parable
Once upon a time there was
a brook, people lived either
side but never met as it was
just that bit too deep to cross.
One day a stranger arrived
with a gift wrapped. He took
it out of the box put it in the
water said this is your present.
From then on that stone was
always used cross the water.
It was a revelation, more than
that it was an ingenious creation.
The tribes either side began to
cross over and back frequently,
it added a new dimension to
they're mundane lives.
Time passed, a new generation
was born different requirements, a
bridge was built joining the people
like "Buda and Pest in Hungry"
One day a granddaughter of the
person who placed the stone enquired
from the bridge, What’s that down there?
"It’s the present we don’t use it anymore “
