Thirty eight minutes to focus my eyes,
the disguise that I use
the blurring of times
the way that the lines on my face
are unread
and
all this going on while I'm still
in my bed

if I see at all
I see nothing at all.

Thursday nearly Friday
soon be on the way
to work away
at being
me.
