Poems
Jul 2023
Take one once a week
Friday,
he said
enthusiastically
and knowing that no one
ever listens to me
I said
Friday
very quietly.
The sun rises above the fountains
highlighting
the mountains of trash,
which gives rise to a time tested adage,
aye,
where theer's muck theer's brass.
time for coffee.
