Jun 2023
in the garden,
there lies my bed
cloaked in vines,
dressed in mossy sheets.
the forest floor soft beneath callused heels.
ever present silence like mist in the air.
as i try to lay on the mattress,
vines are suffocating,
twisting around my neck
and i gasp for more air, more air, more air.
feelings of suffocation.
