The Raven Flys

once again the Raven has made its nest
leaving you with an empty heart
your mind is flying in a circular pattern
not knowing where to end
not knowing from whence the start

this path has been traveled before
and we are to repeat our mistakes
over again as the talons of the Raven
sink into our eyes blinding us
tears of rain like winters snowflakes

we have tried to capture the elusive
knowing full well that destiny has spoken
the communion has already transpired
it is the full length version of catch 22
the confession of hearts broken

the Raven cares not of your pain
diving full speed into your empty abyss
tearing the flesh away from the frame
laughing at the mess you have left
leaving you nothing not even a kiss
