I take the red pill to remind me that it's Monday
I took the yellow one yesterday, Sunday,
I haven't got a clue about the blue one
but I'm hanging on to it anyway.

It's a brand new day
and
I'm in the secondhand shop
wondering when I should pop
the blue one,

do you get the gist
the weekend's gone
and it's sorely missed,

perhaps the blue pill
is one full of hope.
