Guide me through where I need to be
Direct me to my destination
Distance between Day and Night
Total darkness
Headlights through the unknown territories
Trucks signaling in changing lanes
Overhead in the sky a flying plane
Detours leading to wrong exits
Unfamiliar towns
You wonder if you breakdown in will you be found
Deserted backroads
Nothing scene for miles
Being worried while
Still one headlight being the only one driving
Signs everywhere through towns reading Entering and Leaving
Lonely highway all around you
Suddenly night is becoming the next day of sunrise
A yesterday became a tomorrow
Anticipation and hope sets in
Continuing journey from begin
Getting closer to the destination
Hesitation ceases
Expectation becomes high
Finally arriving at designated point
Lonely highway was only a moment, but arriving determined.
