No chimney nor fireplace
A place of love
Joyous family gatherings
Shelter
A journey with a look back
Home
Memories of the various streets
My teachings in not to be beat
Getting around factors of defeat
A park I will always remember
A loss family member thought of as I slumber
Home was yet home
My roam
A Grandparents love was a caring love
Legacy precise
We didn’t have much
Food was always on the table
I was raised by my Grandparents who were mobile and able
Home was where I learned to grow
The sun would often capture the home image in a glow
Pacific Street I will never forget
My Grandparents passed and that is my only regret
The memories
A timeline that accelerated
Day in and out
Home always on my mind when I am moving about
History gone
Onward move
My homestead
