Black Roses
There was a breeze inside,
Colour from my face.
On the walls and in my soul,
Those black roses fade.
You left us with a fractured shadow.
You left so much heartbreak.
So I breathe, and I speak your name.
And I know, you know my pain.
Because you were the same.
So go, just go. Away.
Your photos will be packed away
so I don't endure every day seeing your face.
And those black roses fade.
