Sweetness
Always lay your softness upon my heart
don't release the sadness that never
has to be when two hearts are one.
There never could be a cloud to hide
the stars that shine brightly in our
souls this moment.
Right now is the time we share,
if tomorrow may never appear
the look we both wear together now,
is the look I want to remember always.
We have opened every door that counts
this time in our life, the world radiates
it's true light if given a chance not to
fear.
You are the breeze that softly kisses
my cheek, the rainbow that goes on
forever in the heavens, the freshness
of warm summer rain.
You're sweet as your sweetness you
give it to me.
