Just another figment
Never coming back
Got myself
Into trouble
And couldn’t retract
The mistaken
Intrusion
Into the confusion
And from it
Still casts
A deceptive illusion
That all of this planning
This playing pretend
Comprehends
What the end
So prophetically
Pens
When it lends
But an ear
To the musing of strangers
Instead of defaulting
To surely endangers
My life
To take pity
To drown in the city
Still thinking its merits
Could Trump its decay
That the tyrants who built it
Would give it away
