I wish I could reply
“It’s great to hear from you!”
Or
I’m glad you stopped by
But that’s not how you are
And I’ve never known why

Ever since our dad had died
You pulled the plug on us
And now I just sit and cry
But you’ll still say I miss you
Even if it’s a lie

We never got goodbye
You just walked out of my life
Left me high and dry
I needed you most
And you took to the sky

15 years later, I still try
To catch you on the phone
Never left my minds eye
But you are too busy for me
Just another guy.
miss you man, hope you are doing okay in Minneapolis.
