It is the midday sun

decides whether or

not, shadows stand

or lean or finally fade

and wane away to die.


In summer, solstice

silhouettes outgrow

their masters Ego,

but they're Id again

on the shortest day.


Edison gave life to

darkness thus enabling

sombre reflections an

opportunity to exist,

in the stygian gloom.
